Terms and Conditions


My Name is Wendy, I studied Art and Design at school and Art at college. Ive always had an interest in design, from home interior to making cakes and crafts.

I do come from a baking backgroud my great grandma was a baker and had a shop in early 1900’s. My Grandma taught me how to bake, and people say my victoria sponge taste very traditional. I’m a mum of 3 children and are grown up now, but when younger had cakes for their birthdays, i enjoyed the next lastest craze each year.

All my cakes are freshly made to order, (no packet mixes) I make speical dietary cakes, such as Diary free, egg free, gluten free etc. These are priced per order. 

I am registered with the local council and Environmental health inspected with 5 stars. I am fully insured and hold a level two food handling cerificate.

Cakes and prices.

My minimum cake order value is £60. This is based on a 6inch round deep 4 layer sponge cake, with design, iced board, ribbon egded and transportation box. Prices then vary upwards on portion size, decoration and favour. I mostly make a traditional victoria sponge, chocolate and lemon. I also offer Carrot, Red velvet, Coffee, Coconut at an additional cost. 

Cupcake orders are a min order of 12, from £2 to £4 each, this cost will vary depending on design.

All cake orders require a min non refundable deposit of £10 which is payable on booking with an agreed design. Any information given whilst placing your order, including design details, colours, theme, contact information, price etc will all be included for reference and approval on your cake order form. It is the customers' responsibility to ensure that any detail given/printed on your order form is correct. No conversation in messeges, whats app, or text is a booking without the deposit. I can not hold places for anyone. 

I do wedding consultations via appointment only, they are £20 for an hour and you will also get to taste 3 flavours of potential cake for your wedding cake. Should you wish to book then after the taster day a £20 deposit will be required for your booking.

again this is a non refundable deposit. Should you wish to change a date I will try my best to  accommodate you.

Please note any Cakes for Monday must be collected Saturday, and any Cakes for Tuesday will be ready after noon on Tuesday. Closed Sundays. Deliveries are an additional charge.

Collections and deliveries
If the cake is collected, it is fully your responsibility for the safety of the cake. I will not be responsible for any damage to the cake after it has been collected. The same applies for cakes that are delivered, once it leaves I can not take any responsibility for the cake being knocked or damaged.
(advise will be given on storage) 

Venue drops
Once the cake has been delivered to the venue I take a number of photos in situ and send them to you. So should any damage occur subsequently, I can not be held responsible.

Cake content
My cakes may be decorated with non edibles such as ribbons, flowers etc. Sugarpaste figurines and floral cake toppers may also contain wire, crystals or beads which should not be eaten. It will be your/your caterer's responsibility to remove these, as appropriate, before serving your cake.

As taste is a very personal matter and subjective I cannot accept the return of any orders merely because you do not like the taste.
If you do find you have a legitimate problem with your cake you should contact me within 24hours to discuss this and I will do my best to resolve the problem.
